Pastor Billy has been involved with full time ministry since 1983. Graduating from New Life Bible College of Cleveland, TN, he co-founded the New Life Drama Company. He served as Vice president of this ministry for 13 years. The NLDC still operates today and has developed and trained nearly 1000 young ministers for effective ministry.

In 1995 he became an Associate Pastor at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Greenville, SC. After serving 5 years as an associate he felt called by God to plant a church in Scottsdale, AZ.

In 2001 Oasis Community Church was started with two families in a local elementary school. In Three years the church had grown out of the school and facilitated a merge with a local church that had property and about 40 people. Billy’s leadership allowed the process to move forward with success and today our property is being used to its full capacity with ministry and a local charter school. The church attendance currently fluctuates between 350-400 a week-end. Oasis ministers locally with regular outreaches to our community and internationally to countries like Uganda, Canada & the Dominican Republic. With the mantra to “Love God” and “Love People” Oasis is representative of a place where the hurting can come to be healed, set free, equipped, and discipled to serve God.

Chris is a graduate from Southwestern Bible College (currently Arizona Christian University) where he received his degree in Christan Ministries & a minor in Youth Ministries. He has been involved in youth ministry for 6 years and has been directly involved with the Oasis Community Church youth group for 4 years. God called Chris into ministry in 2003 and he passionately continues to fulfill his calling at Oasis as Youth Pastor of the Junior and Senior High School students. Chris is married to his beautiful wife Raquel who is the Youth Worship Team Leader. Chris and Raquel have been married since March 12th, 2011 and see it as an incredible blessing to be able to serve God together in ministry

Dawn Claudio grew up in the south and has served in ministry for over 20 years. She and her husband, Pastor Billy Claudio, traveled internationally and throughout the country ministering through drama, music and teaching. In 2001, they founded Oasis Community Church. Currently Dawn leads a worship team of 20, plays the keyboard and sings. She also oversees the women’s ministry at Oasis. She is an authentic, effective, engaging and motivating speaker as well.

Kayla was born in Tucson, Arizona. Kayla has worked in children’s ministry for 10 years and attained her “Master Teacher” recognition for grades 1st through 6th at 17 years old. Kayla’s passion is to share Jesus Christ with children is conveyed through a creative and entertaining environment called Kids Ink.

Arlett was born in Texas and raised in California before moving to Scottsdale in 2009 with her husband Lance, who serves as an elder at Oasis Community Church. She oversees the office administration and serves as a women’s Bible study leader at Oasis.
